Q: When installing Focus applications what's the command line for deploying the titles remotely?
A: There are two installs on the cds. The *.exe is a non-msi install, which is primarily intended for single PC installations. You can run these as silent installs with the following command line parameters:

  /SILENT or /VERYSILENT       e.g. Setup.exe /VERYSILENT

When Setup is silent the wizard and the background window are not displayed but the installation progress window is. When a setup is very silent this installation progress window is not displayed. If you are deploying on a network, you will probably want to use the msi, which is also on the cd. For the msi installs, there's a list of command line parameters here:

N.B. In both cases, the required files for the programs are external to the setup.exe or the msi. See the readme file on the cd for details.

A: We give you a 'full site' licence which allows the software to be used anywhere in your school/college.

Q: Is there a manual with the software?
A: Yes, written in a clear, easy-to-read style.

Q: Can we use the material as handouts?
A: Much of the information can be printed out including frames and pictures.

Q: Can I add questions or information?
A: You can edit or re-write existing HTML text, add new information and produce questions for tests or homework.

Q: Are student copies of the software available?
A: Yes, at a much reduced price.

Q: Who do I contact if I have a problem running the software?
